In 1994, a Close Corporation was formed, namely Electrahertz Automation CC, with the prime objective of supporting our Automation Projects, i.e. PLC Control and SCADA Systems.

The main objective in starting these businesses was to supply Technical Assistance to the industry which we experienced to be lacking.

In the initial stages of our business, we undertook Power Factor surveys, installation and commissioning in the industry, working to medium voltage, i.e. 22,000 Volts. We are also involved in the design, manufacture and installation of Control Panels, Systems and Motor Control Centres.

This led to us attaining certain Distributorship Agreements with major suppliers and manufacturers of national and internationally recognised Electrical Equipment, and thereby causing our stock-holding to increase dramatically.

Due to the demand and technical assistance offered by us, we continued to grow and were thereby forced to open a branch of Electrahertz in Jet Park, (1985) and to acquire larger premises, in Silverton, Pretoria (1990).(See Map & Contact Details)

Having been servicing the Electrical Industry for many years, we have become known as a Specialised Electrical Wholesale Supplier of domestic, industrial, electrical automation, protection systems, Motor Control, Power Factor Correction and Switchgear to the industry.

Recently, due to the export market within South Africa, being viewed in a favourable light by other countries, we started exporting our goods to numerous countries in and around Africa.

We are constantly striving to uplift our Previously Disadvantaged Individuals by means of a set policy of promoting courses and studies in the electrical field, which lead to large incentives. Promotions to managerial level are based on service and academic achievements.

We are currently busy obtaining SABS Certification by obtaining SABS 1473-1.
A safety policy is currently in place, based on the O.H.A.S.A.

For the past 4 years we have been actively involved in the manufacture and supply
of Prisma Panels which are designed to meet the needs all electrical distribution system configurations installed in tertiary and industrial buildings. The Prisma Panels are easy to install and offer a complete choice of options and solutions for all the life phases of the switchboard.
